Huli jing 狐狸精

The fox spirit of Chinese folklore, and — with the yaomo — the kind named most often in modern nei kung writing as troubling practitioners. The association is old and widespread in the popular literature: a being that takes what it wants from a person's vitality by attachment rather than by force.
