Glossary
Jing 精
Essence. The densest of the three treasures, associated with reproductive and constitutional vitality. Divided into pre-heaven jing, inherited and finite, and post-heaven jing, extracted from food and air. In Mo Pai it is the raw material converted into qi, which is why continence is a mechanical requirement rather than a moral one.
